Funding, Contracting, and Partnering

This part of the Toolkit will be useful for people involved in designing or managing contracts, setting up and managing funding arrangements for social services, or developing partnering agreements between social service organisations.

This advice will be useful for those who provide funding as well as those who apply for it, and anyone involved in setting up local or national partnerships between organisations.

In terms of data and information they can play a key role because it is through contract reporting, funding accountability reporting, partnering agreements and other similar mechanisms that a lot of data and information from or about service users flows around the social sector.

People working in these areas often have a key role to play in ensuring that data or information collection, reporting, or use as part of these mechanisms is fair, transparent, respectful and trustworthy.
